It's time for a complete details about me and how we got into this mess. I am a stay home mom of three and married to a great guy! However our past financial choices got us into this heaping mound of debt! When we first moved into the condo together we really didn't have much credit card debt. Then we started to charge things like going out to eat several times a week, buying things for our oldest son, buying stuff for us, just wasting money. When the bills came in we were only paying minimum, then we started to plan for our wedding. Again more on the cards....needless to say we racked up a pretty penny! Then after our wedding instead of using the money we got as gifts for the credit cards we went out and got a new "used" SUV! Stupid I know! So couple years pass getting our debt down. Then we decide to try for a baby, so we get pregnant and now need to find a house. We end up making enough on our condo to pay our credits off! So we finance our new house 100%, but we figured thats ok because we have no credit card debt. Well closing comes and we have a $5k swing NOT in our favor! Then it all starts again, we need things for the house, not watching our finances, etc. So thats it! Thats how we ended up in this mess!
