My task today is to create a family mission statement. A family mission statement will help us clarify and achieve our goals. So we need to create one together - kids included! Here was a sample one from the mommysavers board:

to provide opportunities for each person to become
responsibly independent and effectively interdependent,...
in order to achieve worthwhile purposes.
Our Family Mission
To love each other...
To help each other...
To believe in each other...
To wisely use our time, talents, and resources to bless others...
To worship together...
Forever.

So to develop our mission statement it will take a little bit of work and conversation. After we have one, we need to put it somewhere we can see it often and we will need to practice it. This a big task for me but I know we can get it done.
