Another savings tip..Make your own pizza. you already bought the cheese. I use a bread maker to make the dough from scratch, but Betty Crocker has pizza dough mix for usually under 1.00. Check out my site for more tips -- I LOVE to save money food shopping!!

Savingdiva, I usually do buy the block and grate myself but the bag was actually cheaper per pound......which surprise me :) I like the pancake idea - I should make up a box and see how many I get out of it!

Just a few things I noticed that might help you cut your grocery bill. Buy a big block of cheese and use a cheese grater. It's WAY cheaper. Plus, you can freeze the cheese you're not going to use.

Also, mini pancakes...buy some pancake mix...and keep some prepared in the fridge. I do this with waffle mix. YUM!

They need to have a stretcher on hand in the grocery store when people pass out over the prices! Things have really gone up.
